Paynesville Fully-volunteer Yacht Club

Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club is a fully-volunteer yacht club located in Paynesville which were founded in 1937 and has been committed to sailing for over 75 years. The facility of our yacht club has grown somewhat since those early days and now boasts to be one of the most successful family sailing clubs in Paynesville. Our facilities in our yacht club include a fully-licenced bar in Paynesville, club rooms with lake views, launching area with ramp, crane, and mooring jetties. Our yacht club of Paynesville has a wet berth, hardstand and undercover boat storage. We are one of the most active sailing clubs whereby our yacht club at Paynesville is operational nearly all-year round.

Paynesville Top Choice Yacht Club

In our yacht club of Paynesville, we're an accredited Discover Sailing Centre, offering sail programs for all backgrounds, ages, and abilities such as Sailing school, Tackers, Sailability, Adult and Teen programs, Powerboat handling, and School Sailing. Our yacht club offers venue hire whereby the main hall and rooms can be hired for Functions, Weddings, Community Meetings, Seminars, Corporate Events, all with a brand new state-of-the art projector and interactive whiteboard system in Paynesville. We, at our yacht club of Paynesville, also offer membership for both junior members and volunteers at Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club. Our yacht club offers club rooms that are available for hire in Paynesville. Facilities of our yacht club include a hall with expansive views over Lake Victoria (suitable for seating up to 120 people), a fully licenced bar and a commercial kitchen in Paynesville. The hall of our yacht club in Paynesville is heated and air-conditioned, and a PA system is provided. There is a state of the art data projection system provided by our yacht club in Paynesville, suitable for everything from a simple slide show, to DVDs, to live TV or an interactive whiteboard seminar with electronic pens. You are welcome to drop by the bar on a Friday night to chat with members, and also to race with us on Tuesday Twilights and Sundays if you wish (subject to conditions).
