Recreational and Competitive Sailing in Port Lincoln Yacht Clubs

Port Lincoln Yacht Club Inc was founded in 1931 and is now known across Australia as one of the most popular Port Lincoln yacht clubs. Our founding members established our yacht club in Port Lincoln to "foster a love of the sea." These are the words our Port Lincoln yacht club lives by. Our Port Lincoln yacht club has an amazing view of Boston Bay, which is why we are the Port Lincoln yacht club who is always the top choice for sailing enthusiasts and their families. Through our many years in this industry, we have improved a lot as a club from having stronger, elite sailors and the best facilities and equipment the industry has to offer.

Port Lincoln Yacht Club Organiser of the Lincoln Week Regatta

Every season, our yacht club in Port Lincoln organizes a Learn to Sail program conducted by expert sailors and coaches who are experienced in instructing juniors and adults. We provide instruction to sailors in different levels of skill and experience. For beginners, we highly recommend that they already have basic swimming skills prior to joining our sailing program in our Port Lincoln yacht club. Lessons are scheduled every Saturday, from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.

We are a very active yacht club in Port Lincoln. We participate in various inter-club competitions and leagues throughout the season. It is both recreation and competition for us and for the members of our yacht club in Port Lincoln. Being active in such events allow us to get to know other sailors as well as improve our members individual skills and improve our Port Lincoln yacht club as a whole.

Our yacht club in Port Lincoln is also open to non-members who need to hire a venue for special events like weddings, receptions, parties, and conferences. We have two areas in our premises that are available - our function room and our members bar. Our Port Lincoln yacht club is a nice spot for a great view of Boston Bay which is a perfect backdrop for any special occasion.

Our yacht club in Port Lincoln also organizes various sailing competitions and events throughout the year. One of our biggest events is the Adelaide to Port Lincoln Race. This is one of the races in the country that has the most number of participants. We take pride in being the Port Lincoln yacht club able to organize and host such a large gathering of sailing enthusiasts.

What events type of events are can be held in your Port Lincoln yacht club?

We have two areas in our Port Lincoln yacht club premises that you could use for private functions. You can hold parties, receptions, and conferences in our members bar and in our function room. Aside from the venue, you may also hire equipment that you may need to use such as screens and projectors. You may also use, for an additional cost, our bar facilities including staff. You may hire our venue for a full day or half a day.

What type of individuals do you accept in your club?

Sailors of all ages are welcome in our Port Lincoln yacht club. Family members who do not sail but would like to make use of our facilities are also invited to join. We have individual and family memberships available. It all depends on what you require.
