Lyneham Netball Club

Canberra Netball Association is the longest running netball clubs in Lyneham commencing operation in the 1940s, which strive to provide a healthy sporting environment. We, in Lyneham Canberra Netball Association, are the only netball club that promotes the development of junior and senior sportspersons in the spirit of strong competition and fair play. The original Lyneham netball club was situated in Acton and after several moves around the north side of the ACT, the Association took up residence at Southwell Park, Lyneham in the 1970s. Our netball clubs was officially formed in 1970 as a district of ACT.

Canberra Netball Association of Lyneham is run by volunteers with a keen interest in netball clubs. We build a strong sense of community within our netball clubs and enjoyment of being involved in a team sport in Lyneham. We, at Lyneham netball clubs, build a sense of community around the involvement in a team sport of Lyneham. In line with the population growth of our netball clubs in North Canberra and Gungahlin, Canberra Netball Association's membership has been rejuvenated over recent years, and now offers one of the largest competitions in the ACT. We are one netball clubs of five district associations based in Canberra, located in the northern suburbs of the ACT with outdoor courts at Southwell Park, off Northbourne Avenue at Lyneham.

Lyneham netball clubs run a Saturday winter competition from March - September. We have volunteers in Lyneham netball clubs who endeavour to respond to inquiries as soon as possible. However, please note the Lyneham netball clubs pavilion is only attended on match days (Saturdays during winter). There is a range of opportunities available at our netball clubs in Lyneham to further your umpiring and receive mentoring and support in your development.
