The Jamison Centre bird club of Avicultural Society Of Canberra was formed with the objective of bringing together under one organisation all those interested in birds in the area of Jamison Centre. A Bird Report for the Jamison Centre bird club's reporting area is produced annually. The reporting area covers the area of Jamison Centre and the surrounding area. Jamison Centre Bird Club members are involved in local and national counts and surveys.

The Jamison Centre bird club members of Avicultural Society Of Canberra have access to well placed observational hides overlooking the reservoir, mud flats and scrapes. A monthly Guided Bird Walk led by volunteer members of our Jamison Centre bird club is held every month. The Jamison Centre bird club also runs a full programme of trips further afield throughout the year.
